Mr. Book just finished War, by Bob Woodward.

This was an excellent look at the foreign policy of President Biden. Woodward focused on his handling of Putin and the war in Ukraine, as well as the situation in Israel. There was also some coverage of the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

In addition to the coverage of Biden, there was also a good amount about Trump and the dangers he presented, specifically in terms of Putin/Ukraine, but also overall. It didn’t just cover his time in office, but also his time as a candidate. As Woodward correctly stated, “Trump was the most reckless and impulsive president in American history and is demonstrating the very same character as a presidential candidate in 2024.”

In addition to Biden’s foreign policy, the book also discussed Biden’s mental state and his withdrawal from the 2024 campaign.

One sign of a great book is how much highlighting I do of the text. This book is off the charts in that regard.

I give this book an A+. Goodreads requires grades on a 1-5 star system. In my personal conversion system, an A+ equates to 5 stars. (A or A+: 5 stars, B+: 4 stars, B: 3 stars, C: 2 stars, D or F: 1 star).
